Celebration of the “Patria del Friuli” in Aquileia

April 3^rd marks the birth of the “Patria del Friuli” (Homeland of Friuli), a state controlled by the Patriarch of Aquileia which united Friuli and many other territories until the fifteenth century. It is an important day for the Friulian community, a celebration that recalls and revisits in a modern key those forms of self-government and representation that have characterized this territory for a long time.
