Aquileia celebrates the Unknown Soldier, a symbol of the terrible sacrifice of the lives of the Fallen of all wars, and gives voice to the values of collective memory. The city hosts the ten bodies of the Unknown Soldiers and that of the Mother of all mothers, Maria Bergamas.
